Nicole grew up in Colorado where she developed her love for the mountains and being outside. She was a swimmer through high school and college, and spent 10 years teaching swim lessons. The last few years she worked at the Mapleton Center in Boulder teaching children with disabilities how to swim.
She received her undergraduate degree in Sociology and Anthropology from the University of Colorado. She did a lot of traveling before going back to school in 2009 at the Boulder College of Massage therapy. She graduated with honors and found her true passion in life. Through bodywork she feels like she can help people, not only by hands on work but through teaching them how to maintain their own health.
Nicole started Green Sky Massage in 2011 in Broomfield and worked as an independent contractor in Lafayette for 2 years. She moved herself and her practice to Denver in May 2013.
During her studies at BCMT she was introduced to Thai massage. She really connected with this type of bodywork and pursued it to Thailand in the winter of 2012 where she spent 2 months with Integral Travel learning Thai massage. Her west meets east style of massage brings deep tissue and orthopedic styles together with grounding and opening techniques for full body relief.
Nicole has also taken many specialized classes to meet the needs of a variety of clients. She has taken courses in Reflexology, MFR of the legs and feet, Inter-oral work (great for people who grind their teeth or have TMJ), Integrative techniques, Swedish (for those who find better relief from relaxing and not deep tissue), Prenatal massage, and Acupressure points. She also stays current with continuing education classes, so the list continues to grow. Nicole also has a 200 hour yoga teacher certificate from The Freyja Project in Denver, Colorado.
Whether you like table or Thai massage I have something for you. Together we can work towards bringing your body relief and maintaining your health!
